The Georgia Bulldogs have entered the recruiting race for quarterback prospect Charles Scott. Georgia is one of the latest teams to offer the class of 2028 passer.
Scott has received recent scholarship offers from Alabama Crimson Tide, Maryland Terrapins, Colorado Buffaloes and Georgia. The talented rising junior is currently an unranked prospect, per 247Sports. That’s destined to change over the next few months.
The 6-foot-5, 235-pound quarterback has excellent size. Scott plays high school football and basketball for Huguenot High School in Richmond, Virginia.
Scott is coming off a sophomore season where he posted 41 passing touchdowns and eight rushing touchdowns. Scott totaled 3,709 yards of offense and threw only four interceptions. The 2028 quarterback has good mobility.
“Honored to receive an offer from Georgia football,” Scott said via social media. Georgia offensive coordinator Mike Bobo is a key recruiting for the Dawgs in the battle to land Scott.
Georgia already has a quarterback commitment in the class of 2028 in five-star Jayden Wade. However, Georgia is no stranger to having five-star quarterbacks decommit, so the Bulldogs are wisely keeping their options open.
